Comunità Energetiche SpA, controlled by FIEE SGR and one of Italy’s leading providers of renewable energy sharing solutions, has secured a project finance of 53.5 million from BPER, comprising five credit facilities to support: operational plants for the optimisation and refinancing of the operating portfolio’s debt; plants under construction to finance capital expenditure on new photovoltaic projects; the Nardò 1 plant for the development of a large-scale plant in Puglia; revamping to improve the efficiency and increase the output of existing photovoltaic plants; other services to establish debt service reserves and issue project guarantees.
The transaction will enable Comunità Energetiche to accelerate its industrial growth plan, optimising the group’s financial structure and consolidating an integrated platform of photovoltaic plants located throughout the country.
