Clever Servizi Energetici, a company operating in Italy in the residential energy efficiency sector with over 4,200 apartment blocks under management, has signed a financing agreement for €83 million to support its business plan and growth strategy. Clever Servizi Energetici is owned by the infrastructure funds FIEE Sgr. Marguerite and Pioneer Point Partners through their respective vehicles EEF II, Marguerite III and Pioneer Infrastructure Partners. The transaction, structured as a medium-to-long-term loan, was organised by UniCredit acting as Sole Global Coordinator, Mandated Lead Arranger, Agent and Sace Agent, together with Cdp and Mediocredito Centrale-Banca del Mezzogiorno S.p.A. acting as Mandated Lead Arrangers and lenders. Part of the facilities are backed by a SACE guarantee. The funds will be used to finance investments in energy efficiency projects, support external growth initiatives and assist with working capital management.
