A transparent and accountable approach to sustainability
Since its inception, FIEE SGR has integrated sustainability as a core principle of its investment activity, promoting transparency, accountability and rigorous governance standards across all Funds.
FIEE aligns its strategy with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, contributing in particular to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The firm is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI), reinforcing its long-term commitment to responsible capital allocation.
ESG Governance
A structured framework for environmental and social responsibility
FIEE adopts an internal Environmental and Social Management System (ESG Policy) that defines the operational principles, responsibilities and processes for integrating ESG factors into investment decisions and portfolio management.
An appointed Environmental and Social Officer (ESO) ensures ongoing alignment with the Fund’s ESG commitments, overseeing due diligence activities, monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and tracking progress against defined sustainability objectives.
The Funds follow a dedicated sustainable investment policy, fully aligned with the commitments set out in their regulations and consistent with evolving European regulatory frameworks.
